Sustainability

Fashion consumption has reached a record level, significantly contributing to global pollution and waste.                                             The fashion industry ranks among the largest polluters, just behind the oil and gas sector. We pay close attention to our factories for their commitment and protection of workers, their freedom rights, and health and safety at work. We meticulously inspect our factories to ensure there is no child labor, forced labor, or precarious employment.Conventional cotton uses 24% of the world's insecticides and 11% of its pesticides, leading to soil degradation, groundwater contamination, and biodiversity loss. Healthy soil is crucial not only for producing nutritious food but also for acting as a carbon sink by absorbing excess CO2. Moreover, conventional cotton consumes an enormous amount of water, about 2,700 liters to produce a single T-shirt.To address these concerns, we have opted for more sustainable choices like GOTS certified organic cotton or recycled materials. GOTS certification ensures that every step, from cotton harvesting to distribution, adheres to strict environmental and ethical standards.
Organic cotton is grown without harmful chemicals, making it hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin and allergies. It uses 91% less water than conventional cotton, primarily relying on rainwater stored in healthy soil. Organic cotton also produces nearly half (46%) the greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional cotton. As organic cotton is typically handpicked, it is of higher quality, softer, and more durable than machine-processed conventional cotton.
Better consumption while enjoying oneself is possible!
Additionally, for every new order placed on our online store, a tree is planted. In partnership with Ecologi, we have committed to planting a tree for each order to contribute to reforestation and reduce our carbon footprint. Deforestation is a scourge for our environment. It is responsible for 17% of CO2 emissions, which in turn contribute to global warming. Furthermore, trees provide food, improve water quality, and serve as habitats for millions of living organisms.
When you place an order, we donate a portion of the amount to our partner Ecologi, which pledges to plant a tree with Eden Reforestation Projects.
